Customer Support Analyst – US Remote

Boulder, CO

Rolling Energy Resources (RER), located in Boulder, CO, takes a new approach to managing demand on the grid from electric vehicle (EV) charging. Our platform provides utilities with smart charging, demand response, and electric vehicle research solutions for most automotive brands, without hardware. We connect directly to the cars through their telematics (i.e., their connectivity or apps). We are a team of demand-side management professionals who bring our smart product expertise to the electric vehicle space. We love to solve challenging problems. As the newest member of our team, you will be guiding our growing membership of electric vehicle owners through their adoption journey and providing ongoing support. You have a passion for technology and are service-oriented – having honed your service skills in the retail or hospitality industry. Spend your days:

  • Guiding new EV owners through their adoption, including setting up accounts, answering questions, troubleshooting vehicle errors, and providing ongoing support
  • Assessing connectivity and compatibility for our growing fleet of EVs
  • Acting as a service advisor to our EV owners to help them successfully connect and reconnect to the platform
  • Identifying areas of improvement for products, services, and customer success methods – providing “voice of the customer” feedback to the development team
  • Working with the development team on software QA/QC and gathering data for internal ad hoc reports
  • Interacting with our partners to understand and improve vehicle data quality
  • Pitching in wherever you can – we’re a small team with a lot of ground to cover!

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Undergraduate degree in a data-centric discipline and experience in retail or hospitality
  • Highly refined communications skills – comfortable getting your message across in a virtual world
  • Superbly organized, detail-oriented with an analytical mind for solving problems
  • Comfortable maintaining data in project management and CRM platforms
  • Passion for technology and analytics to dig in and find solutions
  • Friendly, outgoing, engaging personality, you truly enjoy helping people
  • Passionate about the future of electric vehicles and a sustainable energy future
